How to Use

Enter the American odds for each leg of your parlay and your bet amount. The calculator will show you the combined odds, potential payout, and implied probability of winning the entire parlay.

Understanding Parlay Betting

A parlay bet combines multiple individual wagers (legs) into a single bet. For a parlay to win, every leg must be successful. The appeal of parlays is the potential for a much larger payout than betting each leg separately, as the odds multiply rather than add together.

When you create a parlay, the odds of each selection are converted to decimal format and multiplied together to determine the combined odds. This multiplication provides potentially high payouts but also means the probability of winning decreases with each additional leg.

Parlay Betting Tips

  • Keep parlays to a reasonable number of legs (2-4) to maintain a realistic chance of winning
  • Consider correlating events where one outcome increases the likelihood of another
  • Be wary of adding "sure things" that offer little value but still carry risk
  • Use parlays strategically rather than relying on them as a primary betting strategy
  • Always calculate the implied probability to understand the true odds of winning
